Celebrate World Vyshyvanka Day in Winnipeg 2024!

Mark your calendars for the World Vyshyvanka Day celebration on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. Join us at the Taras Shevchenko Monument on the grounds of the Manitoba Legislative Building starting at 6:30 in the evening.

Dress your best vyshyvanka, and remember to bring along your family, friends, and Ukrainian flags!  Let’s come together to celebrate our rich heritage and the spirit of Ukraine.

Following congratulatory speeches from dignitaries and members of the Ukrainian community, we’ll proudly parade around the Legislative building, our flags waving high in the sky. Afterwards, everyone is warmly invited to The Beer Can for a lively Zabava event.
