You asked – we are doing!

Looking to improve your Ukrainian speaking skills? Oseredok has an exciting opportunity coming up! Starting on January 23rd, 2023 we will be hosting weekly Ukrainian languages classes online in Zoom! These will be taught by Anna Verbytska, a member of Winnipeg’s Ukrainian community. Anna was studying theater and film at the University of Winnipeg, and has graduated from the University of Ivan Franko with a degree in Journalism. Taught two previous Ukrainian Language Courses at Oseredok. Speaks over five languages including Ukrainian, Spanish, Polish, German, Russian, learning Japanese and Hindi.

This series of classes will be divided into three Ukrainian Language Levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate. The last one is being designed for our Intermediate Course graduates and those who can speak and want to upgrade their Ukrainian speaking skills. If you don’t know your level, join the first Beginner lesson, Anna will define your level and advise the best group for you.

After the course Beginner Level graduates will be able to hold a basic conversation in Ukrainian and understand everyday topics. Intermediate and Upper-intermediate Level students will get to learn some idioms and proverbs that are commonly used in modern day conversations. This course is aimed at giving you as much opportunity to speak as possible and allowing you to express what you want using the words you already know.

Registration will cost $275 for non-members and $250 for members. Please, register here.

The deadline for application is January 18, 2023.

If you don’t have the PayPal account and want to pay by card, please see the instruction here.
