Dear Members of Oseredok,

On behalf of the Oseredok Board of Directors, I would like to formally inform you that Yulia Zmerzla has submitted her resignation as Executive Director effective January 31, 2025.

Yulia has been with Oseredok for 11 years and, during that time, has been a significant asset to the organization in her roles as Executive Assistant and Executive Director. With the support of an excellent complement of staff at Oseredok, she has made significant progress on many fronts. Her leadership and forward-thinking have enhanced the profile and awareness of Oseredok in the community both locally and internationally. Her contributions are greatly appreciated, and everyone at Oseredok wishes Yulia much success in her future endeavours.

For the next steps, a job posting will be submitted for the Executive Director position, and we hope that we can find a suitable candidate fairly quickly.  Yulia will continue in her role until January 31, 2025, and has assured us that she will try to make the transition as smooth as possible.  Should the Board of Directors not find a replacement before she leaves, we will ensure plans are in place for the organization to continue to function effectively.
