Ukrainian Wedding Bread Decorating
This virtual will explore the various decorations, symbols and patterns used in making a traditional Ukrainian Wedding bread (korovai). Similar to an elaborate wedding cake, the korovai is present at many Ukrainian weddings. Doves play a significant part in decorating the korovai, and participants will be shown two styles that can be made. Participants will also make other ornaments used in decorating the wedding bread. This workshop will focus on the ornaments only and participants will be provided the recipe and ingredients to make the dough for these ornaments.
A free of charge kit, available only to residents of Manitoba, containing everything you need to participate in the class will be available for pickup upon registration. Only 40 kits are available.
The kit includes:
- Ingredients to make your own dough
- Instructions

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE REQUESTING MULTIPLE KITS, YOU CAN ONLY USE YOUR OWN EMAIL ADDRESS ONCE.
